The ONLY weather apps to rely on

The ONLY weather apps to rely on

November 15, 2018

We know how it is. You check the weather for the next morning before you hit the hay and plan out the following day accordingly. Appropriate footwear, possible waterproof protection, clothing, your destination – should you go to the cinema or to the beach?

Rain Poncho

When the weather forecast apps don’t quite deliver what they promised it can be infuriating to say the least. We have to plan our lives around the weather sometimes and for this reason, we want to let you in on what we believe are the best three weather forecast apps to rely on.

Met Office

Met Office weather forecasts for the UK and is a World leading weather service for the public. The MET Office is synonymous with providing accurate weather forecasts to the UK public, and has been since 1861. Here at the people’s poncho, this is the service we all have downloaded on our phones to check whether it’s waterproof poncho packing weather!

AccuWeather

Weather forecast, local to international. World class weather radar plus up to the minute weather report and current conditions. AccuWeather is great for global weather and checking what the weather might be doing where your loved ones are or on that holiday you have booked for next week!

BBC Weather

BBC Weather Includes up to 14-days of hourly forecast information, warnings, maps, and the latest editorial analysis and videos from the BBC Weather Centre. The BBC weather forecast now uses the data of private company MeteoGroup after using Met Office for data for 95 years. The new service by MeteoGroup is based, partly, on Met Office data.

Always be prepared – pack your poncho for when the heavens decide to descend on you. Sometimes, even the 10 % chance of rain is possible for a short but sweet downpour.
